This is a study of glazes that I've spent most of the semester on. I found this great photo from Lisa Dearing's website and she was kind enough to allow me to do a study of her wrok. I really like the composition and color scheme of the photo and I tried to recreate it the best I could. The photo on the blog of course is really low quality and I think the colors are off, needless to say it's a horrible photo of the painting. I should really try to get better photos of my stuff. Anyway I used a full palette and I glazed most of it. I actually used a ton of methods for the grasses, scrubbing out etc. For anyone who is interested in Lisa Dearing's wonderful work her website is:
