"Parrot" - Available
Description: I had been thinking about this parrot for days before I painted him, and I'm happy with the way he turned out. I had to turn the beak in a tad because there was a weird angle there. I still feel like his eye is wrong, but when I'm not looking at the picture I feel better about it. I used a good amount to Cad. Red. I'm actually surprised how much red I needed to make it striking. Phy. Blu. saved me on the beak. Gam. for the back feathers and then I think I used Sap Green and Phy. Blu. for the background. I don't remember what the yellow is either Azo. or Cad.? The drips were fun. I like how they turned out. I also tightened up on the face of the bird with a tiny brush. I think that added a lot to it working. I'd like to thank my fancy new brush for that, who I affectionally named Pepe. Men have become the tools of their tools. -Thoreau
